Orpheus Viosna*PL

Thai kitten Orpheus Viosna *PL and his siblings are children of our Elmirka and Cody in thai cattery Viosna*PL.

Orpheus is the only male in litter O. From his mom he inherited very nice contrast and beautifull blue eyes. From his dad he’s got soft and smooth coat that you just want to pet. Cody also passed him his gentle character, cuddling temper. He also has shape and setting of ears as his dad has. We are very curious how he will develop and grow up in few months.

He is a very brave little fellow and not much can scare him. Sometimes he even counteracts to his dad COdy, especially when it comes to the spot on the hammock. But when he doesn’t like something he goes away to a different place which he finds suitable at the moment. Even when he gets snack he sometimes carries it in his mouth to a safe spot where noone would try to steal it away. He get’s a bit intimidated by noise, but for now he gets familiar with noise made by vacuum cleaner.

Orpheus likes to play, mostly with rustling items or toys. Even ordinary candy paper can amuse him for a while. But even while he can play on his own, he really enjoys when someone grabs a toy and joins him. He likes to be in the center of the attention and often tries to catch an eye. He talks and comes to cuddle or climbs on the higher places and meows to be pet. He gets attached to people and loves people company.

Apart from all the above Orpheus is very sociable and like to spend time with other cats. He doesn’t argue with them just sometimes plays fight with them. But he prefers to chase around and fooling around on a cat tree. When the cats are sleeping together it happens that Orpheus washes others ears or helps them to clean up in another way.

Orpheus is our little cuddler who cannot sleep alone and always need to come to bed and hug with us. And he purrs while doing it all the time. He can fall asleep in many funny positions (mostly pushing me out of my pillow), only to be close. Sometimes he sleeps so hard that even if we move him a bit, he doesn’t necessarily wake up and even if he does – he falls asleep right away.

Cuddling & purring character of Orpheus can show up in any situation. When we got back home ater his castration, we spent an extra half an hour in the car. All because he started purring so much after I let him out of his carrier. I just sat there and watched him do this and didn’t feel like I want to stop it just to go home.

When Orpheus was done with hugging, he found a spot on his carrier and continued to purr. He even started to massage with his front paws. So we sat there together in the car – petting and purring until Tomek came to check if everything is ok with us.
