Elmirka is our second thai cat, first one coming from thai cattery Viosna*PL. As a kitten she became really fond of the entire family. She also was the one who had best relations with Whisper and Dziabąg from all the kittens in the litter “E”. Considering her extraordinary gentle and calm character and great parentage we decided to leave her in our cattery.

Her parents are:

M: Whisper Amelia*PL – International Champion

Elmirka is a very calm cat and easily gets along with everyone. As a thai cat – she always has to say what she thinks about almost everything. She answers all our questions and even if she doesn’t always understand what we are asking about, we don’t always understand what she just said. 🙂

Elma is very irrepresible, spontaneous and loves to play. She can ceaslessly chase the feathers and will do everything to get them. And even more for her favourite cat treat (dried meat). She also has her beloved toy – plushy, green heart. Our sweet girl carries it in her mouth all over the house. She even brings it to our bed or to our feet and demands attention and play time. This heart toy thrown even in the darkest corner or the highest shelf is found without trouble and quickly brought back to us by Elmirka. This kind of game can last for hours. Elma often runs with Dziabąg – together they catch all the insects, flies or moskitos that got inside the house. They chase each other down the hallway and have “life and death” struggles.

During her first show Elmirka shown a great mental resistance to stress that comes along with this kind of event. She wasn’t afraid of people, didn’t hide and was very calm during judges examination. What’s more, all that noise and crowd wasn’t enough to stop her from playing. She was trying to catch the feathers while sitting on her show cage. When she succeed, she brought them back inside the cage. She was quite an attraction at the show. Later on Cat show at the sport arena “Łuczniczka” in Bydgoszcz she confirmed her resistance to stress and behave almost the same way when it came to playing.

As a mom Elma is very caring and gentle – if the kittens make any sound she’s already there to check on them. Elmirka has a great trust in people and she sometimes brings the kittens to our bed or on the couch where we sit. Elma is fine with kittens running after our legs while we walk. She patiently shows them around the house. She worries when kittens run in different directions at once and we can see that she feels like running after all of them in the same time. When it’s “the nap time” in our kitten nursery, Elma calls all her children and leads them to their bed, where she feeds them before going to sleep.
