Molly

Molly is a girl from a stray litter, taken in for raising by our caterry Viosna*PL. How she got to is you can read HERE.

At first Molly was a bitwithdrawn but spending time with our kittens from P & R litters, allowed her to settle down and feel safe in our home. She started to discover and learn new things, practice how to play and move around the house. Not only on the ground but also up the cat tree. Now she loves to climb, the higher the better. Often, in the evening, Molly and Halinka have their “happy hours” when the run down the hallway, around the rooms, chase each other up and down the cat tree.

Her love for playing is the same as with our thai kittens. She runs, jumps and climbs with full energy. Her favorite toy is a tunnel with hanging plushy balls. She runs in it from one side, to jump out from the other – on her unsuspecting “pray”. Which means one of her siblings or someones leg… She also loves to hunt the flies and other insects that get inside the house.

When it comes to food, Molly, as the rest of her siblings, is not a picky one. Sometimes she likes to play with a single kibble before she eats it – she pushes it like a ball from one side to another and catches with her paws to bite it. Sometimes we don’t give her food in a ball, but throw single kibbles to catch.

At first Molly was a bit suspicious and when we held her she got frozen and when opportunity comes – she tried to run away. After few weeks with is and our cats, she isn’t so fearful of us. Sometimes she comes to cuddle on her own, and purrs loudly. But there are rare moments, when she may get scared of a hand that comes to pet her too rapidly. But when we caress her, she turns on the non-stop purr, even louder than our thai kittens. Especially she likes to be stroke on her back, right above the tail 🙂 She doesn’t fight back or run away while being held and carried but she doesn’t necessarily like it. But she loves to come to our bed to sleep with is. When she feels lonely, she cries and calls – and if we call her name it happens that she comes to us 😀  .

Molly is very calm even during nail clipping and medical care – like deworming or vaccinating. She even didn’t notice her last vaccine given 🙂 She loves to spend time on the windowsill and lay in the sun. She even managed to throw down the flower pot while she was stretching from one of her naps.

Molly will leave our home in “cattery standard”  – which means triple vaccination, neutered, microchipped and registered in international data base on new owners name. She will also get a “starting pack” for first days in new family, to help her settle down. Company Drapaki Rogacki (Cat tree manufacturer) adds to it a discount voucher for cat scrating post so she can enjoy climbing also at her new home.
