Flying cats

Last weekend, I finally had a little time to get the camera and take photos of the kittens. It’s not easy cuz, catching them not moving for at least a second, sometimes it mission immpossible. But this time we were able to get them even flying 🙂

Little ones can play with anything, but of course the best toy is the one held by a human.

Cats love to play hunting and this breed in particular loves challanges. So Tomek joined our session and “tempted” kittens with plushy mimce, feathers and balls. I hope that we can keeep them in one place long enough to take some photos. Once we were throwing toys from one end of the hallway to another. Watson and Wally turn out to best when in come to fetching. They even don’t quit when other cats get the catch faster from them.

We’ve noticed that some of the kittens try to catch the toy while it’s still in the air and they can really jump pretty high. So we’ve changed tactics and before we threw the toy, Tomek held it high above the kittens range. It worked and after a while the whole litter W was trying to reach the target.

When they were tired of flying, everyone managed to find another thing to do. Wall was searching for an interesting toy and in the end he was running around with rattling mouse that we used to make them jump.

Watson has chosen a mouse of a smaller size but he faced an unexpected difficulties. The mouse got stuck under the scratching mat that Helen was using as a place to sit. And she didn’t feel like changing spots. Watson was trying every possible side to get the mouse out. He managed only when Helen decided to move and even after that, he still had more company to play with the mouse on his own.

Waya has chosen a ball tunnel tower to play lately. So also this time she ended up with her newest favourite toy.

Younger kittens from litter Z tried to catch up with the rest, at first, but in the end they gave up that idea. Maybe it was because we’ve spent some time playing with them alone before we started with litter W. So Zuzia decided to watch everything from a spot on a cat tree.

Zbyszek took a nap on a chair in the kitchen where he was soon joined by Walter.

Zosia was playing on the hammock in cat room for a while, but she ended up naping as well. But she has chosen to sleep with her great ran dma Whisper on another kitchen chair.
