 FIV & FeLV tests Thai Cattery Viosna*PL is free from Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) - dangerous infectious diseases. All our breeding cats are also free from genetic disorder which can cause PRA - Progressive Retinal Atrophy - which leads to blindness. Last months have been very intense for use due to many reasons... to be able to write about it I will have to split my summary in few posts. I'll start with annual veterinary health check. In March, on one of my shifts I was visited by one my regular customer - an older lady, Mrs Zosia. She came to the clinic before with her cats who were ones of the oldest cat patients and lived approximately around 20 years. Now she shares her home with two young male kittens. She also feeds stray cats on her backyard - one of them is a young female. On Monday 15th of January I had to be at work as usual. Unfortunately there was no chance to change shifts with a friend. So I left for work to start at 3 p.m.. Thai Cattery Viosna*PL from the very beginning is free from Feline Immunodeficency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) - dangerous contagious diseases. All our breeding cats are also free from genetic disorder causing PRA - Progressive Retinal Atrophy that leads to blindness. As every year in September it is time for annual check up. As usual we did routine diagnostic tests for FIV and FeLV to all our cats. Even Whisper, who retired this year and is no longer a breeding queen was checked for those. Two weeks ago it was black Tuesday, at least for us. And as it later turned out - it was just a bad beginning. Monday evening didn't announce anything bad was going to happen. Apart from cats, at our home, there are also two bunnies – Pola & Marcel. And today we write about them, or maybe most about the second one. A bit over a week ago, on Friday 24th of March 2017 we welcomed another litter of kittens from Helen in our cattery. According to my previous ultrasound examination, we were expecting three little babies and that's exactly what we've got in N-ew litter "N".
