In less than two weeks, on weekend 17-18th of October we'll be in Warsaw for World Cat Show. We are going there with Elmirka and Helen, who are going to be evaluated by judges. All the boys from litter J will also be there but only as a company for our girls. Control test for FIV and FeLV – 2015

Thai cattery Viosna*PL is free from diseases: Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). Our cats and their offspring are also negative for gene causing PRA - progressive retinal atrophy that results blindness. These year once again we did control tests for Feline Leukemia and FIV. Cats and boxes

Tonight we received another delivery of cat food - including canned pate for little ones from litter J and dry cat food for kittens from litter I. Elma's boys tried their pate for the first time yesterday. So we had to get some supplies to help their mom get some rest. Litter I kittens will have to start changing their food for diet for older kittens. Entire litter I had to help with unpacking a dozen or so little boxes with packages of dry food and cans inside. Vaccinations at Thai Cattery Viosna *PL

Today kittens from litter I had their last vaccination before leaving for new homes. Another one will have to be done after a year from now. We want to create the best conditions for all our cats. It not only means enough toys, beds, cat trees or full food bowl and lot of our time. We also try to make the best and non-stressful atmosphere during those less pleasant procedures that need to be done. Free from PRA (PRD)!

We are proud to announce that cats in our cattery Viosna*PL are free from genetic disease called in short PRA or PRD. Full name of it in English is Progressive Retinal Atrophy or Progressive Retinal Degeneration. It's caused by genetic defect and was diagnosed in many breeds of dogs and cats. In cats it's most common to apear in siamiese, thai, korat, abisinian, somalian and others (in different breeds it can be inherited in a different way). Elmirka and the last days of pregnancy

Soon our family is going to get bigger. Elmirka has little babies dancing in her belly, she is more cuddlesome, so we expect delivery soon. While taking photos of Elma, other kittens came to pose as well. Sometimes Elmirka becomes very sensitive - as a pregnant lady ;). Especially when the little ones try to jump over her head and provoke to play when she doesn't feel like it. We try to ensure comfortable and peacefull conditions for her. Visiting Forrest

Yesterday we took the invitation and went to Toruń to vistit Forrest and his family. Almost two weeks ago he (as the rest of litter “F”) had his first birthday. Of course we remembered to bring him feathers that he liked so much when he was still with us. It turned out he still likes to play with it. Litter I – first steps

At last we managed to find some time to take proper photos of the kittens. Between our works and taking care for the kittens, it's hard to get the camera on time.
