St. Valentine’s Day Cat Show in Toruń – 2016

Last St. Valentine’s Sunday we’ve spent in Toruń, participating in another International Cat Show. This time we went only with Helen, because Whisper already carries a big belly full of kittens and with Elma we have some suspicions 😉

We attended only one day of the Show, because Helen exept for her second note, needs to receive the third one on a World Show. If she woudn’t receive EX1 in Toruń this time she still has two days in October show to achieve that. But in a situation when she gets Ex1 in Toruń – if everything goes well on World Show – on a second day of it she would run for a higher title.

Helenka went on a show all alone for the first time. Before that she always had a company of Elmirka or siblings, but this time they were not there. She was a bit stress with that fact, was dissatisfied sometimes but she bravly endured everything.

Helen was evaluated by judge from Ukraine – Mrs Tatyana Dyachuk. We thought it will be the most stressful moment for Helen but she was really very calm. She didn’t try to run and hide from the table, she allowed everything to be checked and in the end she sat with Mrs Tatyana like they knew each other for years. From what we’ve heard many cats behaved like this with Mrs Dyachuk. So we suspect she has a special approach or calming effect on cats. We hope for more judges like her!

Helen received excellent note EX1 and on her chart Mrs Tatyana draw a valentine heart so I guess she liked our girl 🙂

Helen also took part in WCF Ring and she recieved a commemrative rosette.

We are very proud of Helen and we are happy that she managed to received the note she was running for. Thanls to that we can hope to accomplush International Champion title on World Show in October.

Except for cat competition at the show there was another thing that made our day. We were really nicely surprised how many people came to visit us! Some people turned out to be astonishing! We had a chance to talk to owners of our kittens that for some time are not kittens anymore. We even received a photo gift of our Giuliette. We surely find some place on a wall in kittens room for it as soon as we complete renovation 😉 .

We’ve met many people interested in our future kittens (some came to the show especially for us 😀 ). It was nice to see again some cat lovers who had spend some time with us on a show not for the first time. Everyone made us great joy and it was wonderfull to “charge our baterries” with so many positive emotions. We’d like to thank You all once again for that!

We also thank our favourite Torbolandia for a pretty gift – a cat pendant. We cannot wait for our another project together 😉
