“Thai celebrities” from cattery Viosna*PL

Thai cats get more popular lately – we notice that not only from number of people asking about the kittens. In latest polish magazine “Kocie sprawy” (“Cats matters”) you can find an article about thai cats written by Mrs. Aleksandra Wołoszczak from cattery Kicia*PL from Warsaw.

We can proudly say that there is also a photo of our Elmirka taken by Mr Mariusz Hekselman. Except that we boast of it a bit that our cat is in a magazine 😉 we also encourage all thai cat fans to read the article. Maybe it will give you some interesting information about the breed and if you’re thinking about getting a cat it will help you to make a decision about it.

Elmirka isn’t the only “cat celebrity” in our cattery that apeared in media lately. Before we left for holiday, Helen had her debut in television. Because of International Cat Day we got invited to a talk show “Strefa Spotkań” (“Meeting Zone”) in local TV station. Live program was aired on 19th of February 2016 but it is availible to see on TVP3 webpage (it’s free but you have to get trough all the commercials first). We appeared as first guests, but Helen was already a bit bored by waiting for program to start. Maybe that’s why she didn’t want to stay still when talk show started and she decide to check out the studio. Even her harness nad a leash didn’t bother her at all. After our part of the program we spend rest of it sitting in the audience, as other guests talked. In the end of the show Helen decided to take a nap on my lap.

I admit that I was worried how Helen will handle with all that TV pandemonium, lights, camera, stage-fright 😉 etc. Luckily Helen was way more calm than me. I was a bit nervous myself – I didn’t know what they will ask, what am I suppose to talk about exactly. But when everything started to roll I was more concerned about Helen and how she feels rather than the fact we’re on live television. And my cat? She didn’t care about the audience, presenter or cameras, she was focused on the lights instalation above our heads. I could tell she is figuring out how to climb up there. I wanted to laugh when in the beginning Mrs Sonia was telling how not subjective cats are, and Helen in that moment decided to lie down, roll and subject to petting.
