Newton Viosna*PL

Thai kitten Newton Viosna *PL and his siblings are children of our Helen and Cody in thai cattery Viosna*PL.

Newton is our first kitten in the cattery who turned out to be a different color than we used to have. Untill now we only had seal point or seal tabby point kittens. Newton has also a tabby patterns but his markings are blue. His grandfather from his fathers Cody’s side- Faynyi Frayer Royal Symphony*UA is blue point. Grandfather from mom’s Helen‘s side – Dofin Musipusi*Ru was blue tabby point. So we can say Newton has inherited his markings from his grandfathers 😉

Different color is more prominent when Newton – bllue tabby point is next to his sister Nutella – seal tabby point.

Litter N kittens were all born on the same day, but Newton seems to be the youngest of them all when it comes to behaviour.

Well, he was the first one to climb up Tomek’s leg to let him know he wants to be held. But there are things he does only when someone shows him what it’s all about.  He started to climb the cat tree only after Neo showed him how to do it and he had trouble with getting back down. Poor little boy cried so much that we had to carry him back on the floor.  Although the lower cat tree he got up and down on his own (maybe it’s because this model has a ladder 🙂 ).

Newton is a very sociable and loves people. Lately he even comes on our laps more often than Neo. Newton is trustful, he can fall asleep on our hands or laps when he is petted. Then he doesn’t need company of other cats, but he doesn’t mind it. He isn’t jealous or possessive. We can say he is a cuddler but not pushy.

Sometimes he comes on his own, sits next to us and stares as if he wonders what we are doing. If we don’t pay any attention to him, he starts to play somewhere near or runs away to lash out with his siblings.

Newton likes to chase feathers, which are his favourite toy at the moment. Before that it was a ball because he could roll it on his own. As soon as he discovered somethinig that runs away without his help (but with ours!), it became his best thing when it comes to attractiveness. When newton plays “hunt” he sometimes growls on it’s prey which is pretty funny with this size little kitten 🙂 When he finally catches it he “fights” with it.

Of course Newton likes to have company to play with and sometimes he tries to wake up his brother or sister for it. But if noone is iterested in “waking up” he either joins the nap or finds himself another thing to do. With other cats he is delicate and sensitive.
