Kociaki z miotu Z w nowych domach

If you were wondering how the kittens from the Z litter – Zosia, Zuzia and Zbyszek – have settled in, we rush to tell you everything 🙂

Suzie (Zuzia)

Suzie was the first to go to her new home in Wrocław. Initially, we were worried about how she would manage, because she was the shyest in the litter. Fortunately, it turned out that Suzie is way more cool than we thought.

There was an older feline brother already waiting for Suzie at the new home. He was very much lacking another cat’s company. At first both animals kept a safe distance. When Suzie saw that her brother was getting nervous, she gave him some space and time to adjust. But honestlu it didn’t take long time and in short time they were soon getting asleep together.

Suzie loves sleeping on her new mom’s lap and under the blanket. As she sees his knees in the position on the photos below, she is ready to cuddle and take a nap.

In her new home, Suzie helped her older brother exercise a bit. She is crazy about feathers or playing with a ball tunnel. Of course, like most cats, she also has a soft spot for cardboard houses. She likes to play rebuke with his brother and get on all over his head. And after having fun together, it mostly ends with a nap together.

By the way, it turned out that Suzie is not as shy as she used to be with us. She has turned into a small swarm at her new home. Everywhere she goes, she must check out everything. And in order not to waste time, she starts at 6 am;)

Zuzia Viosna*PL

Suzie is also very brave and will get anywhere.

She also loves to get on the kitchen counter, where of course she is not allowed to be. When she is taken off the counter, she complains a lot. Of course, as befits a thai cat, she is a real chatterbox and also answers all questions she is asked.

Her latest hobby was playing Spider-Man while testing a net on the balcony. That almost gave her new mother a heart attack.

Despite all the mischief and wake ups, Suzie is to be loved. She’s a sweet, clunky, pretty girl and when you just take a look into those blue eyes you’ll forgive her everything.

Sophie

Sophie went to her new home right after Suzie. Not only were the girls passing each other at the door, but they were both going to the same city – WrocÅ‚aw 😉
After leaving us, Sophie slept almost the entire way in the carrier, so she probably did not fully grasp the fact that she had moved out. The first moments in the new home, she meowed and searched for us. Fortunately, despite the new situation, Sophie didn’t lose the desire to have fun and while playing she managed to relieve a bit of stress. She must have liked it so much taht she even she woke her new family at night and in the morning to play with her. It paid off because Sophie was definitely feeling settled and unlike her new people – she probably got some sleep over the night.

Sophie remained a curious cat and in her new home she also continues to discover the world. She will get literally anywhere that she fits 🙂

Of course, she still loves to play with mice toys and feathers. And like all our cats – she loves toys with a human attached on the other side.

Sophie feels so at home that she finds it comfortable everywhere and can fall asleep literally anywhere.

Sophie is not afraid of anything – new guests at home? I am happy to say hello. A fly flew into the room? I’ve hunted at least 3. Garage door open? So there’s where I’m going to explore. Some cardboard on the balcony? It’s a great place where I will take a nap.

A fly in a lamp? It’s also not a problem, I can hunt it here too. By the way, I will improve the light for you…

Sophie is very attached to her family. Every time they want leave the house there’s have to be some fun and cuddling first. Because of this, sometimes they are even late for work (and this also sounds familiar to us). Of course, there is no way at all that there will be no naps together during the day.

As befits a Thai cat, Sophie is always there where something is going on. It does not matter whether they are guests or, for example, remote work. She has to supervise everything herself. And if necessary, she can always observe incognito, hidden behind flower pots.

Zbyszek

For reasons beyond our control, Zbyszek had to wait longer to go to his new home. In his case, some pandemic regulations meant that he stayed with us some time after his sisters left. But this didn’t bother us, because we could enjoy time with him for a little longer.

Zbyszek’s family is from Gorzów Wielkopolski, where his older brother Wally went earlier, and also Enzo a few years ago.
Despite the fact that Zbyszek was with us longer, so he had more time to become attached to us, he settled in a new home quite quickly. However, it was very difficult for us to let him leave us…

The first moments after movin in to new home, were so exciting that Zbyszek did not know what to see first. He was so fast that it was hard to take a picture of him. He slept the first night without any problems. He even took some space on the pillows in bed, just like he slept with us before in the cattery.

Zbyszek feels so at home that he can go anywhere and soon he had his favorite places to sleep. As every thai cat, of course these must be a high spot. When it comes to the toys in his new home, his favorite items are wine corks and bedding buttons.

Since leaving the cattery Zbyszek was, among others, at the vet check up, where he was very brave and polite. Apparently he wasn’t half as stressed as his new family. It is hardly surprising, because Zbyszek is the first cat in the house, so everyone experiences his adventures very much or even more then he does himself. And from the adventures, he also ha a trip to family’s summer house., where he had some exciting moments.
Besides all that, Zbyszek is of course a talker (as probably all Cody’s), he is also very open to guests and there is no option not to like him.
