Occasionally, we have other pets that need help - especially hedgehogs. We try to provide them with the best conditions and care so that they can quickly return to their natural environment. It should be remembered that hedgehogs should be returned to the conditions in which they learned to live. This means that an animal found, for example, on a recreational plot, cannot be taken to the forest because it may not be able to cope. The same applies to urban hedgehogs, which should be released in safer zones or on the outskirts…Read more
Manfred (2003 – †2012)

Manfred (2003 – †2012)

Manfred was with us long before Whisper, but she was easily accepted by him as a newcomer. They went for walks together on a leash in the garden, chased each other around the house, and rested together. When Whisper - still as a kitten - was stressed about her travels in a cat carrier, it was anough to put Manfred together with her and she calmed down. All because she was interested in her friend and the rabbit loved to have his ears washed up by her. Unfortunately, Manfred left us in March…Read more
Rudi

Rudi

Rudi is a neutered male who lives upstairs. He was found by my veterinarian friend in the car, and came to the current owners - my parents -from a home cat shelter. From the very beginning, in his new home, Rudi made friends with our cats, played together with the kittens from litter E and became very close to Dziabąg. Both boys got along very well, they used to go out to the garden together, where they climbed trees and hunt insects. At the beginning Rudi also made friends with Elmirka and Whisper.…Read more

Monster (2004 – ?)

Monster was over five years old when we started the cattery in 2010. For all his life he was the only cat in the house. He used to go outside long before the cattery was established. Since Monster was around we've never had any problems with unfamiliar cats (although they used to come before and for ex. spray our door). He looked after his area very well, even after castration. We were a bit afraid of how he would react to another cat in the house, but it turned out that our concerns…Read more

 Marcel (2003-†2017) & Pola (2004-†2017)

Marceli helped us fill the void left by our previous bunny - Manfred. The little redhead turned out to be a very intelligent creature. He quickly learned to use rabbit toys and a ball for snacks. Marcel lived with me in Olsztyn for the first year. After moving permanently to Bydgoszcz, the bunny probably missed his previous home, because he became dejected and lost the will to play. Taking advantage of the Easter mood, we decided to provide him with company and that's how Pola came to us. Both animals became friends very…Read more
