Neo Viosna*PL
Thai kitten Neo Viosna *PL and his siblings are children of our Helen and Cody in thai cattery Viosna*PL.
Neo is a little explorer – he was the first one from the litter to leave the kitten room and discover the rest of the appartment. Helen was getting nervous back then, because she didn’t know how to split her attention so much. Even Cody found it difficult to get the little one back to his mom. Neo just had to check why all the cats go to the kitchen. Since he discovered that there is another room at the end of the hallway, when we cannot find him – we know it’s time to check the living room… behind the sofa.
Neo is a very open kitten, he comes to say ‘hi’ as first and he is a talkative boy. Not only he starts the conversation, but when he gets us into it, he often replys. When we are in the room, he comes on our laps on his own or tries to climb up on a leg, to let us know he wants to be carried. Neo likes people a lot and he is trustful – he can even fall asleep so deep, that lately he didn’t wake up when Tomek put him in his pocket (he needed both hands for something but didn’t want to part with the kitten).

Neo likes to play, as almost every kitten his age. His favourite game is chase and catching moving objects (I’m not sure we can call it hunting yet). He often tries to catch Helens’ or Cody’s tail, follows feathers or ribbons on the floor. Some time ago he even tried to “bark” on the feathers when it was out of his reach. He can also take care of himself when it comes to entertainment – he plays with balls or fights plushy rat or wonders around the house. Of course he also plays with his brother and sister – mostly is running and “fight”.

Neo is smart and we suspect he will learn really fast. Sometimes we can tell that alrady. When he reached our bedroom for the first time, he found a scratching mat, that has holes and a tunnel with balls under it, so cats can try to reach them and take them out. Neo figured it out on the spot. He was also the first one to show his siblings how to use a scratching mat before they discovered there is something else than scratching posts. When it comes to posts, he learnt fast how to climb up the tallest one we have in the living room. When he goes up, he looks like a catty-squirrel.

Lately Neo became friends with his little “brother” Orpheus. Sometimes they “fight” which looks rather sweet and funny than “dangerous”.

From litter N, Neo is the one most atracted by bunnies, that share room with the kittens. Every time that Pola and Marcel get their snacks (they have hay and herbs availible all the time, but the also get some extra twice a day), Neo sits by the cage and observes as they eat. he seems fascinated. Well I mean if he is around at the time instead of running aroung with other cats. Other kittens don’t seem to show such interest in bunnies. Once I even found Neo on the top of their cage – back then he couldn’t jump that high, but he used cage bars as a ladder 🙂 That’s how smart he is! We hope his new family will know how to use this potential.
