Monster (2004 – ?)

Monster was over five years old when we started the cattery in 2010. For all his life he was the only cat in the house. He used to go outside long before the cattery was established. Since Monster was around we’ve never had any problems with unfamiliar cats (although they used to come before and for ex. spray our door). He looked after his area very well, even after castration. We were a bit afraid of how he would react to another cat in the house, but it turned out that our concerns were unnecessary. He made friends with Whisper very quickly. They slept together, traveled, ate from one bowl together – Monster even gave her his portion sometimes.

Despite attempts, it was not possible to wean Monster from leaving the house arbitrarily. We were hoping that as we live in a quiet neighborhood, a bit off the beaten track and further from the busy streets, he would be safe even outside. Unfortunately, one day Monster didn’t come home and we don’t know what happened to him.
