Relacja z Międzynarodowej Wystawy Kotów w Toruniu – lipiec 2022

On the weekend of 23 and 24 July, we went to The International Cat Show in Toruń organised byt Stowarzyszenie Hodowców Kotów. It was the first show for us in a long time. Previously, our girls reached titles, that required trips abroad or - in the case of Helenka - to world-class shows. The possibility of participating in this kind of event is more difficult with females due to the pregnancy and the period of raising offspring. After that, trips were limited and most cat shows cancelled due to the pandemic. During that…Read more
Helen’s New Tittle

Helen’s New Tittle

Before we went on holiday, we've gone with Helen and Cody to a cat show in Radom in June. We wanted to make it with collecting diplomas for Helens' new title, before we have another kittens. She only lacked one more with excellent note, to be called a Grand International Champion. We also took Cody with us, so that she's not alone during the show. Regarding the busy time before our holiday (and also end of school year at school were I taught) we only made it to attend one day of the show…Read more

Review from International Cat Show in Toruń – February 2018

A month ago we went on International Cat Show in Toruń with Cody. We've had some concerns about it as we had kittens who were only 3 weeks old. We didn't want to bring any "unwanted surprise". But we also cared that Cody gets his first Champion title so kittens can have it in their pedigree. We promised ourselves to take any precaution to lower the risk to minimum. There is always veterinary control, rented cages are previously desinfected, judges and stewards desinfect also hands and tables between cats to decrease infection risk.…Read more

Review from International Cat Show in Toruń – September 2017

Last weekend, we went to Toruń for cat show, according to plan. Cody finally started his career as an adult. We hoped to start it much earlier. he was suppose to debut on World Show first part of this year. But because our girls were pregnant we let it go back then. But what is delayed is not lost and finally our first tomcat got his first notes as an "man". Girls continued their titles from previous shows where Elmirka finished European Champion and started collecting judges notes for Grand International Champion. In…Read more

Review from International Cat Show in Kaunas – February 2017

On previous Monday we got back home from our trip to Kaunas. We've spent entire weekend on International Cat Show organised by Lithuanian club Top Miau. It was our first event abroad. All the previous titles for cats we managed to achieve on International and World Shows in Poland. Now Elmirka was trying to complete such a high title that it required foreign show for evaluation. Along with Elma, also Helen got a chance to complete one of her own titles, that requied either a World Show in Poland or a foreign International…Read more

Review from International Cat Show in Toruń – February 2017

Before St Valentines Dat we decided to spend a weekend in Toruń on an International Cat Show. Our main goal was to let Cody get familiar with show tmosphere again. We didn't pay so much attention to completing titles (still evaluation gives us some feedback). On this show Cody is still in kittens class and next weekend he turns 10 months. It means that even if he receives first two notes for Junior Champion, he won't be able to finish it as he will be in another age category. We have some ambitious…Read more

St. Valentine’s Day Cat Show in Toruń – 2016

St. Valentine’s Day Cat Show in Toruń – 2016

Last St. Valentine's Sunday we've spent in Toruń, participating in another International Cat Show. This time we went only with Helen, because Whisper already carries a big belly full of kittens and with Elma we have some suspicions ;) We attended only one day of the Show, because Helen exept for her second note, needs to receive the third one on a World Show. If she woudn't receive EX1 in Toruń this time she still has two days in October show to achieve that. But in a situation when she gets Ex1 in…Read more
St. Nicholas’ Cat Show in Warsaw 2015

St. Nicholas’ Cat Show in Warsaw 2015

St. Nicholas Day and weekend we spent on another Cat Show in Warsaw. Considering the event our cage was decorated and we had some holiday details. I even managed to convince Tomek to dress up (at least for the photo ;) ). Elmirka, Helenka and Julian were getting in the holiday mood for at least a week as they were wearing their collars and costumes. Julek & Elma were looking very elegant in their red collars with scarf and Hela was our little Elf. Even judge Antonello Bardella was impressed with Elma and her…Read more
Cat Show meetings – Mr Franciszek Klimek

Cat Show meetings – Mr Franciszek Klimek

During last World Cat Show in Warsaw we had a chance to meet Mr Franciszek Klimek. We got invited to his stall with one of his poems "Kot, który mruczy" ("A cat, that purrs"):   Mr Franciszek is a great cat lover and owner of a few. But for the show he came with his beautiful poems about cats. You could buy them in a volume or as a calendar. We decided to get tham as a book. It's said "never judge a book by it's cover" but when we saw it we…Read more
