Visiting Julian
In the middle of October 2016 I went for a veterinary workshop near Warsaw. And because of the close distance, I could not miss the opportunity to visit Julian, who has been living with a new family in Raszyn. Julian was the first kitten, who was with us that long – he left the cattery over the age of 6 months. (Previously, he was still with us and attended cat shows).
We visited Julian for the first time right after our holiday in March. It was already clear back then that he has settled at his new home and gets along with everybody in the family. He even allowed the youngest girl to carry him around and when she let him go – he didn’t run but followed her around.
During October visit I was able to see Julian and check with my own eyes how her grown up. We were very curious about that because we also wanted to see if we were right with our evaluation and preditions while he was still with us in the cattery. And I think he met our expectations cuz when I saw him – he was magnificent. 🙂 (Maybe I should not say that as it may look as I am bragging, but I really was impressed with how he turned out to be.)

He’s got a nice, rounded head, big, expressive eyes, nice contrast of body colors and proportional figure. And now his balanced temperament turned out to be a “gentle giant” as he has grown to be a handsome, big male.
(Maybe the photos don’t show it pretty well but I only had my cell phone camera.)
As Julian has grown up he also got some new skills – he liked to get on the glass – case in the living room and from there to another one. Because the interval between the furniture is quite big, his family took care that he can cover the distance safely. Between the glass – case and the other closed there is a footbridge made of a wooden board. During my visit I could use this construction to play with Julian. He really liked to hunt the feathers (which I brought for him) while he had to run over the footbridge or try to catch it under it frome one site or another.
Despite his fancy for high spots (typical for all our cats) Julian probably still feels like a kitten sometimes. Some other places he likes to use can be a prove for that – especially those reserved for kids 🙂

During my visit we talked a lot about Julian while he was around in the room or playing with us. I also talked about our other kittend that for ex. like to watch movies or play special “cat games” on smartphone. We got curious if Julian would find these attractive as well. And it turned out he was interested with moving objects on the screen of my phone.
I am very glad that I could see Julian once again – because he was with us the longest I was very attached to him. When I had to go Julian also hovered around my things – mostly my scarf, like he didn’t want me to go yet. It was really hard to say goodbye to him and his family even when I knew I had to get up early in the morning for another classes.
Once more I’d like to thank for the invitation, opportunity to visit (and help with getting to You ;)). I hope it wasn’t our last meeting 🙂
