Cat Show meetings – Mr Franciszek Klimek

During last World Cat Show in Warsaw we had a chance to meet Mr Franciszek Klimek. We got invited to his stall with one of his poems “Kot, który mruczy” (“A cat, that purrs”):

 

Mr Franciszek is a great cat lover and owner of a few. But for the show he came with his beautiful poems about cats. You could buy them in a volume or as a calendar. We decided to get tham as a book. It’s said “never judge a book by it’s cover” but when we saw it we thought about our Helen.

We have told the author about our thoughts and we introduced him to Helen. I think he liked her because he even asked to take a photo of them together and agreed that we put one on our website. So here it is – Mr Franciszek Klimek and our Helenka Viosna*PL:

It turned out that that apart from his poems Mr Klimek also had graphics that were used to illustrate his volume. Similarity between cat from the cover and Helen was so strong that we decided to have a “cover cat” graphic at home. When we got back it turned out that we are not the only one who liked it. Julian also liked our souvenirs from cat show. Maybe because he is also seal tabby point 😉 As soon as we finish renovation at home it will hang on one of our walls – in a proper frame.
