Zosia Viosna*PL

Thai kitten Zosia (Sophia) Viosna*PL and her siblings are offspring of our Helen (Grand International Champion) and Cody (National Champion)  in our thai cat cattery Viosna*PL.

Sophia was the bravest of the litter from the very start. As soon as she has opened her eyes, while she still wasn’t able to stand yet, she tried to explore the world. 

Sophia became to love people very fast and she learned to use it as soon as she did. She loves to cuddle, still stays around and doesn’t miss any chance to nap together. 

Even when she was very little, not even in her full colors, she still was very photogenic. It didn’t matter if she was sleeping, playing around or rolling over the bed. She always looks good on every photo.

Sophia can use anything to play. Piece of paper, hair tie, plushy mouse or feathers – everything looks interesting. And if there is a person attached on the other side – she can play like it never ends. 

Little ones often start their lives in our bed and spent most of the time in it before they can move to a nursery in cat room. Only after a while there (for ex. when they learn to get on the bed) they start to sleep with us again. Sophia was the first one in the litter to “come back” to staying in bed. In comparison to her siblings, she also learnt   first how to cuddle while napping and how to get under covers and not only take spot on the pillows. 

As Sophia was growing up, it turned our one of her eyes is a bit crossed. Similar thing can be observed in young children as well. Sometimes it passes with age or requires rehabilitation. With Sophia we tried to exercise her eyeball muscles – too much contraction can turn eye bulb in one direction what results as a crossed eye.

Sophia sometimes was patiently taking the exercise to cover one eye and make her look in opposite direction with the other. Unfortunately, as she was getting older she didn’t want to do it and fought us back. She still has a slightly crossed eye but luckily it doesn’t cause her any problem nor impaired sight. She just looks a little bit cheeky.  

Sophia loves to spend time with other cats and she gets along with them perfectly. She is gentle and friendly to all animals. She can share toys and joins for naps and cuddles with them. When all the cats are running along the house, she usually goes with her dad. She mostly chases with Cody and also learns from him – for ex. bouncing against the wall when turning. 

When we got Joey for raising up, Sophia was the first one to accept him and become friends. 

She came to like him so much, that he even slept in his bag/pocket while he was out or she got in his kennel to take a nap with him.

When Joey was unwell and required treatment, also Sophia got sick. Luckily we managed to take care of them and soon the were all alright again. For the very day, when Sophia left for her new home, she was still best friends with Joey. 

Sophia is a real talker and she often has conversations with us. She chats up, answers questions or even talks back. Mostly she talks with Tomek that she grew fond of in particular (and the feeling is mutual). For him, letting Sophia go to her new home is a really difficult experience. 

Sophia is very sociable towards people. When we are home, she doesn’t leave our side and follows us like a shadow. She helps with cleaning cat litterboxes, with doing the loundry or unpacking the shoppings.

She has to be there in the bathroom, kitchen, bedroom or even in the toilet, where she insists to get on a lap. When we hold her or she is with us in bed, she is so interested in people that she even plays with our hair which makes her a perfect candidate for a hair dresser. 

Sophia has a great character that combined with her beauty wins her sympathy of everyone in the room. She is very brave and scared of nothing. When someone new comes to visit, she runs to say hello and play with them.

  After mom Helen she has her colors and very nice, round shaped head. From dad Cody she inherited many features of character and a soft fur.
