Neo & Panda – need new home
Lately we’ve received news from Mrs Ewa. Unfortunately, due to few unfavorable circumstances and difficult situation, she has to look for a new home for Neo and Panda. The whole tree is really close with each other. This can be noticed also from the story she had sent us about her cats. She knows them and loves them really well. We are aware that this is also very difficult for herself. No one who has thai, or any other cats, doesn’t want to be parted from them. But despite her own feelings, she puts her cats first. And now this requires to rehome them 🙁
Both cats has been raised with us, even despite Panda is not a thai (more about her story HERE). Now we’d like to help to find them a new, loving home where they can stay together and that will mind their best.

Let’s start by saying that both cats get along wonderfully. They can chase each other or play fights for hours. But the have different characters. Neo, who is also called „niuniu” or „niniek”, „niuniuś”, can be easily compared to a dog. Panda aka Pandzia or pretty is a little cat princess. Both precious used to live with a bunny. They used to follow her and tried to play with it. There was no aggression at all.
Neo is very curious. Nothing can get by. He does everything to take part in his owner’s life. He needs a bit more attention and care than Panda. When you leave them alone it’s easy to see the difference. Panda just goes to sleep silently. Neo starts meowing and get upset that he was left alone. He’s really talkative. He can walk around the house and talk as he is describing everything he sees and thinks about it.
He is very energetic and likes to get on higher places. It would be perfect for him to help him get there. For example by putting shelves on the walls or nets/bridges he can walk around and see things from above. Because of his curious nature, all the windows and wholes should be properly secured as he is quite slim. As for the windows, we only used tilt windows with special grille that can be easily purchased from pet store (for ex. Zooplus). I can also give away those grilles that I have for him.
Neo is very sociable and needs love and attention of people. Playing with his sister Panda are not enough for all his energy. His favorite toys are balls of paper or napkins. These are things that can keep him occupied for a longer while on his own. He also likes to hunt for a string or ribbon. To be honest, no toy is able to replace a thing that everyone have at their homes. I mean tissue balls, hair ties, shoe laces etc. Neo is more a dog than a cat.
He loves to cuddle. He does it in his own sweet way. First he looks you deep in the eye, then blinks slowly and rubs his head on your face. He asks for kisses and cuddling. He loves to be pet on the head, back and, wait for it… likes to by spank a bit on the butt. But not for too long. He let’s me know when it’s too long and even sometimes uses his teeth to show it. But he does it gently, just to show. Anyway he presents his back for all that and you can tell how much he likes that. He doesn’t show his belly as Panda does but he comes more often to cuddle and stay on laps. When he does he tries to be as long as possible.
At first, Panda is a bit shy and distanced, she need some time to trust someone. She’s not really very fond of meeting new people. There’s not point it trying to force her to like someone. She needs to see on her own, that a stranger is not a threat in her own time, and after a while she even comes and asks this person for cuddling (usually when she’s not in the center of the attention). In opposite to Neo, she shows her belly very often. She loves to cuddle, but mostly in moments of her own choosing 🙂 Every travel is a bit stressful for her. It takes us around 3 minutes to get to the vet, but this is emotional for her anyway. During examination she just stays still. She doesn’t try to run, nor bite or scratch. She just tries to hide in the carrier and doesn’t feel like leaving. When she gets home afterwards, everything is back to normal at once.
Panda loves to eat, which can be spotted as she has a “little” belly. She has to be controlled a bit what can be challenging, as Neo it’s in small portions in a few turns. Usually when he comes to have a second turn of his meal, it’s already gone thanks to Panda.
Her favorite toys are hair ties but she also loves any balls and little strings. She loves to fetch. She has also a special game she plays on her own – she takes her toys to the water bowl. Than she puts them in a pushes with her paw. Afterwards she plays with it or brings, so we can play fetch with it. She also loves to watch the birds outside the window.
She doesn’t like to be left alone. Especially if Neo is not around. But she can handle herself pretty well and doesn’t cause any problems. She had never ever broke anything in the house. She is a great companion. She loves to be cuddled and pet.
