Last day with Uno

Today was the day when Uno left for new home. First he was a bit shy when he saw guests but playing made him chill a bit and get familiar with new people.

When it comes to leaving, we always have carrier open on the floor so kittens can get to know it. Often other cats use it and get inside. They leave their scent so carrier smells more friendly for those who go on the way to new home.

Uno accepted his carrier right away and we even had to get him out by tempting with toys. Both of his parents also approved his travel box 🙂

Harness also didn’t cause any problems for Uno. He didn’t pay attention to it at all, like he wasn’t wearing anything. He was cool, chasing the toys, jumping for the feathers and lurking from the tunnel.

Of course Helen supervised everything all the time. I guess she will miss he son. But on the other hand, he was big enough that sometimes she found him a bit annoying.

Uno was playing and fooling around, and we started talking about funny photos and cat gadgets. Both Uno and Rozalka (who he will meet from time to time) already have their Instagram. We’ve also mentioned about another well-known Instagram cat Nala, who’s got funny pics in hats and clothes (link here). And that how it began 🙂

It turns out that Uno is born to do dress ups…. he doesn’t care if he’s wearing anything. As in the case of harness, Uno behaved like there was nothing on him. He was playing, jumping and running as without it. Although he was dressed up just for a while, we made it to take dew photos of him as a baby shark.

Luckily, after “only” 3 hours of playing and chasing the feathers, Uno got tired enough to go to sleep. Unfortunately for us, because this meant we have to start saying goodbye. Plan was to get him tired, so he sleeps most of his way to new home.

We took his clothes of and wished all the best with his new mom. Luckily, from the very beginning, we’ve seen that they will get along.  🙂
