Sidney Viosna*PL

Thai girl Sidney Viosna *PL and her siblings are kittens of Helen and Cody in our thai cattery  Viosna*PL.

Sidney is a very brave and smart little girl. She was the first one to get to know the house, learnt to jump up the couch and from there to other furniture (we had renovation of our bedroom back then and our bed and night tables were in the living room next to the couch). She is very curious and interested in everything around.

Sidney can get anywhere where she can get a nap. While we were getting ready for Christmas, she made a sleeping bag out of a santas hat. And she just had a nap in it like it was the most natural thing she could have done… 

Once we’ve had a very stressfull evening when we couldn’t find Sidney. We’ve searched all the corneres of the house – including the dishwasher, washing machine and the fridge. She wasn’t even in the wardrobe. Then finally we’ve found her by surprise. In the bathroom we have bathrobes hanging by the well and next to it there is an ironing board and drying rack. Sidney had climbed up the board, up to my bath robe, she cuddled in one sleeve and fell asleep. So she is obviously a cat and she loves to sleep in warm places. Under the covers, by the fireplace. And when we don’t use the fireplace at the moment, she will be satisfied with regular heater.

Sidney is very energetic, she has to check out every noise and movement in her sight. She loves to play with furry balls, but she will do fine with regular ones as well.  She is full of energy  and is also intelligent. It didn’t take her long to figure out the ball tunnel toy. I think that interactive toys or “brain crackers” will be a lot of fun for her in the future. When Sidney is left alone and has noone to play with, she would hunt our feet or try to climb up our legs. It was more intense when I started using Christmas slippers with pompons. But it was mostly about the furry pompons for her. Despite all that Sidney will do fine also with regular feathers on a stick 😉  

 

Sidney likes to cuddle and be the centre of the attention. Sometime she even tries to get her the attention for ex when we play with Sally. Then she comes to check out what’s going on and joins the play. She is very patient and delicate when it comes to cuddles. She eve licks our hands sometimes when we pet her on her chest. She comes to say hello one her own, when we come back home. When she is done and doesn’t want to be carried or hugged – she lets us know her mind. 

 

Towards Sally – Sidney is very caring and keeps her sister clean. She literallly licks her head and ears clean. Despite all that sisters love, the girls don’t find it hard to fight each other while their play and spike their fur. 

When it comes to naps with us – Sidney prefers a spot on the pillow in our bed. But she can also find herself another place (like on a heater). In the morning she sometimes wakes up by licking our faces. She mostly like Tomek’s beard or my eyelashes. 

Sidney is seal tabby point – as well as her mom Helen. She also got from her nice head shape. From dad Cody she got well placed, quite big ears. 

 

From both of her parenst (or even more from Helen) she also ingherited a talent for funny faces and looking foolish on the photos 🙂
